Nova Maple Syrup is a product of Northwest Pennsylvania, where it is sustainably harvested from local hardwood forests by our family. We take pride in producing the highest-quality syrup and are confident that you will appreciate it as much as we enjoy creating it. Enjoy it on a variety of food items, such as sweets, meats, and breakfast treats. It is made from 100% Grade A Maple Syrup and may contain small soft lumps due to a required residual moisture. Rest assured, no chemical, organic herbicide, or pesticides are used in the production process. The plastic jug is 100% BPA free and sealed for your safety. The syrup is also free of artificial flavors, preservatives, dyes, gluten, and dairy.

Tapping In January or February, we tap both hard (sugar) and soft (red) maple trees across four properties using tubing to connect all trees to a vacuum pump.

Boiling The collected sap is run through a reverse osmosis system to increase its sugar content. The boiling process occurs in an evaporator, utilizing a steam recovery system to save fuel oil.

Bottling Maple syrup is bottled at high temperatures to eliminate bacteria growth and is filtered one last time before being sealed and sent to customers. Throughout the year, we continue to use stored syrup to make other products.

Our Story Nova Maple Syrup was established in 2015 with the purchase of a 100-acre property in Hartstown, Pennsylvania. It started as a hobby in 2013, tapping 50 trees, and the family behind the business has now expanded to tapping 22,500 trees across four properties.
